Kathleen Catalano, RN, JD
Kathleen Catalano is a director in Perot Systems’ Clinical Solutions Center. Ms. Catalano’s responsibilities focus on the areas of patient safety, risk management, medical staff and Joint Commission and CMS preparedness where she enhances Perot Systems’ approach to managing complex clinical content and regulations. Ms. Catalano authors and assists in the writing of articles and white papers that showcase Perot Systems’ Clinical Solutions Center. She also speaks on Joint Commission, Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals, Risk Management (Sentinel Events and FMEA) and the EMR/EHR.

Ms. Catalano has a Juris Doctor degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in law from the Western State University College of Law, Fullerton, California, and a Science Degree and Nursing Degree from Riverside City College, Riverside, California. Read more about Ms. Catalano.

Charlotte Hovet, M.D., M.M.M., C.P.E.
Dr. Charlotte Hovet is a Physician Executive in the Perot Systems Clinical Transformation division with extensive experience in medical management leadership and medical staff governance. She has demonstrated strengths in the implementation of patient safety and medical quality initiatives, which resulted in improved, measurable clinical outcomes. With a focus on physician engagement, Dr Hovet leads clients through a clinical transformation process that is based on the effective alignment of people, process, and technology, and utilizes her  expertise in mentoring and motivating clinicians to develop effective solutions related to clinical information systems.

Prior to joining Perot Systems in 2006, Dr. Hovet served as the Senior Medical Director of Care Management for Altru Health System, an integrated not-for-profit health care system. Dr. Hovet has a strong record of clinical credibility, having practiced as a board-certified family physician for 20 years. Throughout her many experiences in leading physicians through change, Dr. Hovet has promoted a vision of patient-centered care, evidenced-based practice, and a culture of organizational excellence.
