IRS TIPSS-3
QSS, now a subsidiary of Perot Systems, earned the distinction of being the only new large business to be awarded the Total Information Processing Support Services-III (TIPSS-3) contract. Moreover, QSS won in all three principal areas, as listed below. We provide customers with complete solutions and a single point of contact across all areas of the TIPSS-3 scope. This provides our customers with the means to reach new levels of capability, efficiency and competitiveness.
TIPSS-3 is a Multiple Agency Contract (MAC) that is available to the IRS, Department of the Treasury, Treasury Bureaus and other federal agencies to acquire a wide array of IT and related services. It has a 5-year period of performance through 2010, a $3 billion ceiling, and entails no user fees for the Department of Treasury and its Agencies. TIPSS-3 may be used to fulfill short- and long-term requirements in the following functional areas:
