Military Police to College Degree Program
The Perot Systems Military Police to College Degree Program is seeking former military police, masters at arms, security forces, embassy guards, and other military personnel with security experience who have a desire to pursue their college degree. The program is designed for enlisted security force personnel who have been out of the military for less than 18 months.
Candidates selected for the program will work as security officers at one of Perot Systems’ corporate locations. The majority of MP to College Degree associates will work at the corporate headquarters in Plano, Texas. Program participants are encouraged to pursue their four-year college degree part-time at an accredited college or university.
The MP to College Degree program is structured so that Perot Systems prepays college tuition up to a set rate per year. Participants in the program are also eligible for their GI Bill benefits. After earning a college degree, program participants are encouraged to transition from security duties to an associate position within Perot Systems.
The Dallas/Fort Worth area is home to several distinguished colleges and universities including the University of Dallas, Southern Methodist University (SMU), the University of Texas at Dallas, the University of Texas at Arlington, the University of North Texas, and Texas Christian University (TCU), to name a few.
MP to College Degree candidates should have basic computer skills and must be able to pass the Texas State – Personal Protection Officer Level 4 certification. They must pass full criminal, drug, psychological, and employment background checks. Security personnel must be available for shift work.
