Harry Greenspun, M.D., is the chief medical officer of the Dell Perot Systems healthcare group, providing strategic leadership with a clinical perspective. He has held a diverse range of clinical and executive roles across the healthcare industry, giving him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities faced in health IT. Over the course of his career, Dr. Greenspun has held many key roles in implementing company- and industry-wide policy. Prior to working for Dell Perot Systems, he served as chief medical officer for Northrop Grumman Corporation, where he provided subject matter expertise, thought leadership, and strategic direction for the company. More than a decade ago, Dr. Greenspun founded a company that tracked clinical outcomes in cardiac surgery, which later became the healthcare practice of an open source software company.
