For Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Finance (OF), Dell Perot Systems is providing process improvement consulting, program implementation and management support activities. Supporting 40,000 customers in disperse geographic locations, Dell Perot Systems has direct responsibility for documenting, improving, and deploying an effective set of streamlined processes that represent the management and operational functions for their 5 component organizations: Financial Operations, Budget, Asset Management, Procurement, and Administration and Planning. Our services enable OF personnel, stakeholders and customers to effectively and efficiently deliver OF products and services that meet desired quality standards and customer needs.
Supporting the Navy’s Changing Mission ...
For the U.S. Navy, Perot provided support to the SSGN conversion. The conversion will enable the Navy to modernize and convert existing ballistic missile submarines to conventional missile and Special Operation Forces (SOF) capable submarines. This gives the Navy a new missile platform with significantly expanded capabilities for a fraction of the cost of a new program. In addition to providing senior-level experts in submarine acquisition, program management, financial management, engineering, and logistics, our experts collected critical and detailed information to aid the Navy in convincing DoD and Congress to approve program funding and execution. Dell Perot Systems efforts contribute to reduced delivery time for SSGN, the new class of converted submarines, from the typical 15 to 20 years to five years.
