€140,000 CRM System for a European National Health and Safety Authority

Our client is a national body with the responsibility of securing health and safety at work. Because safety is everybody’s responsibility, our client consults widely with employers, employees and their respective organizations. To help develop sound policies and good workplace practices, our client works with various advisory committees and task forces which focus on specific occupations and hazards.

In planning the launch of a new Workplace Contact Unit, our client wanted a solution that would support the customer contact lifestyle. “We wanted a user friendly customer contacts system, using its existing Oracle Database, that would have functionality to allow paperless transfer of information, accountability and record of actions”, explains our client’s Workplace Contact Unit Manager.

Original Solutions, now a Perot Systems company, was selected for this project as a result of our company’s track record in delivery, highly skilled staff and trusted management methods. “Perot Systems was chosen by our company as it put forward the best mix of expertise including external partners”, says our client’s Programme Manager. “Perot Systems had dedicated enough resources and expertise together with incremental delivery and quality management to the project to ensure timely delivery”.

Perot Systems developed a system to support customer contact lifecycle that integrated with its client’s current SAFE system for recording accidents and field enforcement of standards. Perot Systems applied quality project planning and management methods from inception through to the timely completion of the project. This ensured our client’s Project Board was always aware of the real project status. “We found Perot Systems’ flexibility and availability in their approach beneficial”, continues our client’s Workplace Contact Unit Manager. “They afforded us predictable quality and progress of delivery throughout the duration of the project”.

The new system gives our client the capability to deal effectively and efficiently with customer complaints, serious injury reports and information requests. Our client’s staff can now view customer histories, track inspector recommendations and link appropriate cases.
