Perot Systems Experience:
I worked at Flagstaff Medical Center and was an integral part of the 17 application center conversion that happened in 2004.  I was a major player in the design and writing of the patient access admitting software portion of the conversion.

What do you like most about your current role?
The challenge of making sure each bank contract is processed correctly to the specifications of each lender.  Also making sure that all sales deals are balanced properly and accurately.

What experience did you gain from Perot Systems that helped lead you to where you are today?
I understand the programming of software and have “inside” knowledge of how fields work and what they can and cannot do.  Also, I can create reports for the department because of my understanding of tables and the data contained in them.

Who was your role model or mentor during your career at Perot Systems?
My role model and mentor was (and still is) my director, Linda Wells.  She taught me many useful habits and philosophies for the workplace. Linda always gave me the chance to use my skills and abilities and would make me want to always do better!

Do you have any special memories that stand out of your time with Perot Systems?
I really enjoyed my job and the people I worked with in patient access and at the central business office.

Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I took miscellaneous classes at a community college.

What do you like to do outside of work?
I love to sit on my back patio and read and spend time with family and friends.  Vegas is high on the list also, but doesn’t happen as often as I would like.
