The Growth Awards are presented annually to a select group of companies that have made a significant impact or new commitment to invest in the technological and economic growth of business in the Tri-State region. Analysis by the Economic Center for Education and Research at the University of Cincinnati, along with a nomination by Northern Kentucky Tri-County Economic Development Corporation (TRI-ED), were major deciding factors in Perot Systems qualification for recognition.

Perot Systems investment in a new data center in Northern Kentucky prompted the recognition. Located in Florence, the facility will expand upon the region's efforts to attract businesses in the technology sector. The data center will occupy 24,000 square feet of space, and will include 20,000 square feet of raised flooring. The state of the art facility will complement Perot Systems dedication to global outsourcing, and will provide clinical systems hosting for Catholic Healthcare Partners (CHP), one of the largest not-for-profit systems in the United States. The data center is scheduled to open this July.
The award we received recognizes the investment and commitment that Perot Systems has made to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati region. It reinforces our relationship with Catholic Healthcare Partners, the first of what will be several new customers to move into our world-class data center, said Guy Wolf.
The Cincinnati USA Partnership is comprised of organizations representing Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. Its goal is to promote strong business and economic development in the Tri-State region. Perot Systems was among 11 companies to be recognized for bringing new business, investment, and expansion to the area.
