Deccan Herald Recognizes Perot Systems
CAS and IBPS Indian Campuses noted as "Most Fun Place to Work" and Anurag Jain receives "CEO of the Year" award
On December 1 Perot Systems received two prestigious awards from the Deccan Herald, a leading Indian newspaper. Perot Systems Consulting and Applications (CAS), Insurance and Business Process Solutions (IBPS) and Infrastructure Solutions (IS) Indian campuses received the Most Fun Place to Work award and Anurag Jain, president, CAS and IBPS, was named CEO of the Year with Strong HR Orientation.
The most fun place to work award recognizes our pioneering efforts in creating a high energy, fun workplace setting. What really differentiated us is the fact that we view fun to be a key element of the way we do business rather than the fun for the sake of fun approach taken by other companies that were competing for this recognition, said Sheela Singh, who accepted the award on behalf of the company.
With the participative style of management that he has adopted at CAS (the Breakthrough Program) and the success achieved in infusing a new energy, Anurag was well positioned for this honor. Further, Anurags success in implementing best-of-the-breed HR processes at IBPS strengthened his candidature for the award, commented Srinivas Rao, CFO and chief of shared services for IBPS, India. Srinivas accepted the CEO of the Year with Strong HR Orientation award on behalf of Anurag and also spoke on the topic Empowering People, a leaders perspective at the awards ceremony.

This years topic was The New Economy and the New Divide: Closing the Gap through Human Resource Development Strategy and Action. The awards are determined by a jury that includes eminent professors and Whos Who of HR professionals.
I congratulate Anurag and his team on receiving these impressive awards. The Deccan Herald is a prominent voice in India and their recognition of Perot Systems as a leader is fantastic, said Peter Altabef, president and CEO. The awards are a testament to Anurag's leadership and the outstanding efforts of the HR team in fostering an environment that truly incorporates having fun as a fundamental part of every associate's job.
