A Culture of Excellence
At Dell Perot Systems, our success has always been based on delivering excellent service and solutions to our clients each day. In fact, pursuing excellence in everything we do is the very foundation of our company culture. We empower each of our associates--from our front line technicians to client executives--to make decisions and take actions to ensure we are delivering the very best service we can to our clients. It is a personal commitment we ask of each of our 23,000 associates.
At Dell Perot Systems we have established clear objectives for our associates and support the development of new skills so that each of us can continue building our Culture of Excellence. We seek to improve personal performance and in turn we promote and recognize our highest performers. These basic tenets, and the environment they foster, have been fundamental to Dell Perot Systems’ success. It has been a winning formula for Dell Perot Systems and its clients for the last twenty years. We are proud of our ability to deliver at the highest levels but remain focused and committed to achieving more tomorrow than we did today for our clients. That’s just who we are and what we do.
Our Culture of Excellence Encompasses Four Pillars:
1. Integrity: Integrity is the foundation of Dell Perot Systems’ Values and Principles. It is at the core of the behaviors we expect from every associate. Trust, ethics and transparency with customers and associates are an essential element of doing business. All associates must have the ability to maintain social, organizational and ethical norms on job-related activities and relationships.
2. Personal Accountability: Personal Accountability describes a high degree of willingness to accept responsibility and account for one’s own actions in execution, delivery and outcomes. Accountable associates conduct themselves in a way that consistently brings credit to their teammates, themselves, and to Dell Perot Systems. Accountable associates present themselves as professionals in dress, demeanor and communications.
3. Teamwork: Teamwork begins with a commitment to work with other individuals and groups to achieve common objectives. Teamwork is necessary within small groups and across business units and corporate organizations. Those who demonstrate teamwork do so willingly and cooperatively to achieve individual, team and company objectives. They balance personal needs and objectives with those of team members putting the good of the team ahead of personal gain. Our company, the Dell Perot Systems team, should be first and foremost among our teams - the priorities of individuals, teams, business units or support organizations should not outweigh priorities of the Dell Perot Systems team.
4. Passion for Excellence: Passion for Excellence is an enthusiastic desire to perform in a way that far surpasses the average. Individuals, teams and our company should pursue excellence in all we do. Associates who are passionate about their job have a bias for action and quality. They always seek out new ways to improve processes, resolve issues and pursue opportunities. They demonstrate the importance of quality and excellence in our services and through our actions by working to the highest standards, individually or with teammates, whether directed by self, leaders or clients.
