Dave Miller

Managing Director, China

Dave Miller is the Perot Systems Managing Director for China, and is responsible for the company’s business development and expansion in that country. Mr. Miller joined Perot Systems in January of 2007 and served in a leadership role in Consulting and Applications Services in North America and in April of 2008 was promoted to the managing director position.

His roles and responsibilities have included overseeing client relationships with his team of client executives, delivery operations, as well as pursuit support and management of more than 500 associates engaged in service delivery in North America. He and his team also managed Consulting and Applications Services relationships and delivery operations provided through the Perot Systems business units in Healthcare, Government Services, and Commercial Solutions, as well as key operations support for North America Consulting.

Following a 28-year career at Hewlett Packard, Mr. Miller brings significant international business start-up and management experience to Perot Systems, with a particular strength in North Asian markets. Mr. Miller wrote the business plan, built, and grew the HP Global Delivery Center in China. He served as Vice President and General Manager of the China Center for 5 years, with a total of 2,200 employees and operations in Shanghai, Dalian, Beijing, and Chong Qing. The China Center remains the second largest strategic base for HP software applications services delivery. Mr. Miller also served as a member of the Shanghai Hewlett-Packard Board of Directors and was invited to join the Council of Economic Advisors to the People’s Government of Chong Qing.

During his tenure at HP, Mr. Miller was also responsible for the planning, start-up, and growth of the joint venture software integration company, Hewlett-Packard Solutions Delivery (HPSD), headquartered in Tokyo. Prior to joining the software solutions business, he spent 4 years as the Worldwide Marketing Manager for the Integrated Systems Division (ISD).

He enjoys outdoor sports including golf, skiing, scuba diving and is an avid distance runner, having participated in marathons worldwide, including three consecutive Boston Marathons.
