Caroline (Caz) Matthews

Caroline (Caz) S. Matthews was elected a director of Perot Systems in December 2008. Ms. Matthews is currently Vice President for Corporate Social Responsibility for WellPoint, Inc. and President of the WellPoint Foundation. Ms. Matthews has held a number of key positions with WellPoint, Inc. and its affiliates during a 20-year career at the company. Prior to heading Blue Cross Blue Shield of Georgia, she was president, West Region, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, overseeing WellPoint's affiliated health plans in Colorado and Nevada. She also served as vice president, operations and co-chief information officer of the Information Technology Division of Anthem. Prior to that, she served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer of Acordia South. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of Qwest Communications International, Inc. and is a former board member of Digital Insurance Systems Corporation, Acordia of Florida, Acordia of Northern California, and Acordia of the South. She has served on the boards of numerous non-profit organizations and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Denver Health and Hospital Authority. Ms. Matthews received the "Outstanding Woman in Business" award in 2002 and "CEO of the Year" award in 2004 from the Denver Business Journal.
